Today they had a parade at Mountainside where all the kids dressed up and "trick or treated" from room to room. Justin and I both had a chance to be there for the action which was nice and a very unusual treat for Jack!
When I got there, he was laying down and almost asleep. I wasn't about to let him miss out on the action (maybe I am a bad Mommy!) so I woke him up and put him in his costume. He didn't really understand what was going on. I am hoping Halloween take #2 on Sunday will be a little more successful with the smiling! These days, Jack is scared of everything. So much so in fact that this morning when I was changing him and I opened the blinds, he freaked out at the noise they made! He basically jumped into my lap and up onto my shoulders. He also doesn't like anything that has a mask & talks (like the Mummy Skeleton at Lowe's) or anything that looks like it shouldn't talk (like his stuffed Elmo.) Halloween may not be so successful....
Either way, he participated with the rest of his classmates and got lots of neat treats. Here is our little Yoda...

Not too sure why Mommy put this on me. |

Very, very happy & excited. I think this is the quintessential holiday picture for a 1 year old!!! |

Daddy's here, maybe he'll take this crazy thing off me. |

Nope, more pictures. But is IS nice to see both Mom & Dad at once! |

Waiting patiently at the gate to go out! |
