Jack is having trouble adjusting to Justin being away (or wait, maybe that's just me!) so this morning I decided to take him to the Franklin Park Zoo (set of this new movie, coming soon! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1222817/) It was a great idea...but thankfully I came prepared. It was 32 degrees when we got out of the car at 10:30am and it climbed up to 35 by the time we left! Phew. It really was bitterly cold, but that didn't stop our little man from enjoying himself. He loved the zebras (now one of his favorite words), the wildebeasts, and the peacocks. He also enjoyed the petting zoo and the pizza lunch :)
We have many reasons that we decided to move on to California, but the weather was definitely up there on the list. Days like this remind me why. It was beautiful, sunny, not a cloud in the sky, and so windy and bitterly cold that we both were shivering!
