We've had a great and busy Thanksgiving week. Gigi and G-Doc came to keep us lots of company and entertain the kids. It's been super fun!
We found out that Caroline is really Justin's child:

And she is mine too:

Caroline and I stayed home and baked gingerbread men cookies while the other adults took Jack to the Exploratorium in San Fran. She LOVED it!

She also helped makes the turkeys for the table:

Unfortunately she found our beer stash. We are in trouble when she's in college...this girl loves wine & beer. (Side note: that bottle was empty.)

Justin and I had this bottle of wine with a romantic dinner - it had a great name. It was actually a really good bottle.

Gigi and I took Caroline shopping at Tory Burch ... And she had a fabulous time. It was ridiculous!

Happy the Elf showed up on Thanksgiving. He's been keeping a close eye on the kiddos!

We were wholly prepared for Thanksgiving:

There were lots and LOTS of people! 28,000 to be exact.

Jack Sparrow even ran it!

I ran a personal 10K best in an official time of 1:03.36. This is my unofficial time from my running app. I was very happy with my performance!

Justin's dad did great in his 5K debut with a time of 46:08.09!!! It was good that we ran a lot, and then took naps, because it was turkey time! Someone (looking at you, Caroline) got up at 4:00am on Thanksgiving morning. Then she took an epic nap. Imagine that.

Here's our Thanksgiving table:
Guess who's big enough for Crew Cuts?!? I am SO EXCITED! She's such a little sassy model too.
This morning we got our LIVE tree...at Whole Foods! Don't judge, it was $49. The only Black Friday deal I partook in.
How do YOU buy Christmas trees? |
Jack and I did a 1-mile run this morning to recover.

And here's our tree all set up. It smells SOOO good!

Merry Christmas! It makes me ready for Christmas just reading your blog. I think we need to go get our tree now. I always have a hard time getting into the spirit of Christmas when it's warm and sunny outside! But, it's super nice to be able to play out back all year long!
ReplyDeleteWay to go on your run! We are slackers for staying home, but we still didn't get everything cooked on time, so it's probably good we did. :)
Your family pictures are so cute, love the one of you and justin. So sweet!
