Happy 30th birthday, Justin!

Yesterday Justin finally joined the ranks of his much older (and wiser, and more mature) wife and turned 30. I had grand plans to take lots of pictures, but my battery died on my good camera just as we sat down to dinner. So...sorry. This is the best I got.

We took Daddy out to this place for his birthday dinner. Gigi and Cara remember our awful, horrible last experience at Benihana, so we will never be going back there, even though it's much closer. The kids love hibatchi though, so off we went. Traffic was kind of bad getting there, but once we did, we all had fun. Jack was super worried about the fire (luckily this place didn't do it) but he enjoyed the show and his shrimp and fried rice. I brought Caroline a little pack of baby food, and she gobbled that up happily sitting in her high chair - but then she was SO JEALOUS and MAD that we got to eat and she didn't! She ate her weight in mushroom soup, white rice, and fried chicken. It was hilarious - everyone at the table thought it was so funny how she hit her spoon and yelled until I gave her more.

It was a fun dinner. Afterwards, we came home to have cake and ice cream (oops- just realized I forgot the ice cream.) Happy birthday, Daddy!!!

The decorations. Jack couldn't decide, so we had Angry Birds plates, Sonic napkins,
Power Ranger cups, and Spiderman balloons.

Jack did a great job on his super-sappy card.

"Mommy, let's eat now PLEASE."

My little birthday helper!
