My Lose It app rewarded me yesterday, and I was shocked. I actually did it! Tomorrow morning (the 4th) mom and I are running a 5 K at the SSI pier. My, how my life has changed in just one short year. Last summer I was still recovering from childbirth and I had a newborn. Now I have two BIG kids and I'm really on my way to getting back to my old self again.
The kids are having a blast with all their grandparents...and spent a lot of time being crazy as usual!

Sadly, we lost Justin's paternal grandmother, Granny (Troy Crosby) on Sunday morning, June 30. While her passing was not unexpected, it still took us all by surprise. We spent the beginning of this week preparing for and attending her viewing & funeral.
Jack (sort of) understood what was going on. He really enjoyed playtime with his Crosby cousins that he only sees once in a blue moon!

Caroline was lucky enough to play with Mrs. Swindle during the funeral (thank you!!!!) I know she had much more fun on her long walk and with her spaghetti lunch.

We are looking forward to celebrating Colin and Jack's birthdays tomorrow, along with fireworks and the 4th, because Pop-Pop is having a total knee replacement on Friday morning! Eek! I know he will do great, and that he has lots of days running and chasing after his silly grandkids ahead of him :) Hopefully we can help distract him during his recovery...maybe...
