CHRISTMAS!!!!

I'm writing that word just like Jack said it EVERY SINGLE TIME for the last month. The kid was so ridiculously excited for this year...Justin and I decided that 5 years old is the peak of Christmas excitement. He was so crazy!

Without further ado, here's everything we've done in the last few weeks.

Caroline's new best buddy Mary. I met her mom through my running
group and the girls have SO much fun together!

Drinking ketchup? Yup, she's mine.

On the rides at Chuck E Cheese for Spencer's 6th birthday party!

Daddy's building engineers one kid at a time.

Waiting to see Santa.

I chaperoned Jack's class field trip to the theatre to see
The Elves and the Shoemaker. So fun!

Someone stole Cheetos.

Baking cookies.

This is Jack's best buddy at school Nathan. They make huge creations at centers.

They played together quietly forever and it was AMAZING!

Sleepy baby.

I volunteered as a playground monitor at Jack's school so that the teachers could have a
staff holiday party. It was CRAZY ... but fun!

I even had an orange vest and a walkie talkie :)

Jack immediately after the kindergarten party.

Caroline looooves J Crew.

On Sat the 20th, Apple had its holiday party. NO expense was spared (obvs.)
They chartered buses to San Francisco ...

and rented out the whole California Academy of Sciences.

Free drinks and AMAZING food! Sushi bars! YUM!

Justin rolling his eyes at me for taking selfies.

We even got to see a show in the planetarium.

I spent about 3 hours and $500 helping the kids wrap their presents to
each other.

And they looked like this.
I took the kids to IHOP for a pancake date a few days before Christmas! YUM! But they were very, very silly:

She does this all the time now. WTH.
I went running and saw a pretty sunrise:

Guess who this little ANGEL is?? 1984.

This was before Santa came. For shame.

Opening one present on Christmas Eve.

Jack wrote this!

She did this right in the middle of Christmas morning. SIGH.

It got cold and we had a family day at the park.

It got cold and it made running harder!

MAGIC SAND!!! LOVE THIS STUFF!

Caroline got a haircut...

We spent a family day in Palo Alto at the Junior Museum and then out to lunch at Cheesecake Factory...

SO COLD.

I had a beautiful NYE run this morning! Freezing, but so fun!

Thanks Aunt Sissy!!
OK...on to watch football and celebrate New Years tonight! Go Jackets! Go Noles!!! :)
