Ugh, it's that time of year. I thought we avoided any sicknesses, and we really have up to this point, but the fall sniffles got us all! We are on about day 3 of this runny, nasty stuffiness and we are all sick of it! It's gotten considerably colder here in the last week (amazing that a high of 60 feels cold now!) and we've had to run the heat in the house. I think that's contributing to our feeling of general blah-ness, because it's forced hot air heat (all new to us) so it's very dry. Poor Jack has struggled to sleep at night and the time change didn't help anyone! Hopefully we all get back to normal very soon.
I ordered Jack a new "potty training" night light. It's an elephant that you charge during the day and then they can sleep with it in their bed at night, and carry it with them to the bathroom if they have to go. It's a little early for that, but he does really like it as evidenced by this photo:
