Phew! I know it's been a long time since I updated, but it's because we have been very busy! We have already had almost two weeks of a super-fun-filled vacation with many more to go! Here are a few snapshots of our time so far. I have a lot more pictures, but I will have to make do with what's on my computer already for now.
It all started with a red-eye overnight flight from San Jose to Atlanta (and then Jacksonville) on June 20. Mom (SuSu) was kind enough to brave this with me. It is definitely not for the faint of heart. The kiddos did great - both slept most of the time. SuSu and I did NOT sleep a wink, but it was worth it.

| Caroline in her contortionist position as usual, snoozing away somewhere over Alabama. |
 |
| Almost to Jacksonville...SuSu looks pretty good for being up all night, huh?! |
We all rested (a lot!) after we met Gigi and Pop-Pop at the airport. Jack and Caroline slept most of the day away, and I got a good solid nap too. We spent some time meeting new family members...

| Uncle Colin and Aunt Sissy meet Caroline for the first time! |
 |
| Pop-Pop enjoying some quality time with baby Caroline :) |
G-Doc took Jack horseback riding in Valdosta, but first he took him for a shopping spree of all the things good cowboys need...
 |
Gigi has much better pictures from his horseback riding. I will do a whole blog post about it. Jack was a PRO and super adorable!!! |
We headed over to St. Simons early in the week and enjoyed some RAINY days with our Farrell family. Tropical storm Debby was crazy! She finally left (thank goodness) and Caroline's fever went away. We all ventured out to the splash park at Neptune Park at the pier...and had a great time.
 |
| I mean really. This is the good life! |
 |
| Shopping spree at Bailey Boys :) |
After a bunch of fun days, we headed to Valdosta and then onto the beach at Seagrove, FL to meet Daddy!!!!! who flew in from China on Friday. Jack has had a blast at the beach and the pool, but it's been VERY hot. Very, very very hot.

Caroline has spent most of her time doing this:
And we have been enjoying Gigi's awesome photography skills as usual. We are going to attempt family beach pictures soon!
