Jack, 3 years 1 month:
- Likes: Building forts, building tents, and building big messes using every pillow in our house. Nightlights (he has 6 now in various shapes and colors.) Still loves his Taggies. His new big boy carseat (really just a booster that uses the real seatbelt.) Macaroni, rice, edamame, and "squeezy fruit." Baby Caroline. Walks in our double stroller to the park. "Fighting!" and pretending to be anything - a pirate, a bad guy, a good guy, Fireman Jack, a police man. School and his teacher Michelle. Bugs - especially roly polys. Waking Mommy up at 3am because he's scared of monsters. Giggling. Laughing. Tickling. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ("Rescue Turtles!") Swimming and the diving board. Asking "why" a million times. Calling me Momma. (He heard Justin do it once as a joke and now he won't stop because he thinks it's funny!)
- Dislikes: Using the potty, ever. Mashed potatoes. Being hot. Being in the dark. Sleeping through the night.
Caroline, 4 months:
- Likes: eating, eating, and more eating! Being outside and going for walks. Sleeping on her tummy with both her hands straight down at her sides and her head contorted into a 90 degree angle (why?? no idea.) Her swing. Jack's old bouncer! Wearing 9 month clothes. Telling me very loudly when she has a poopy diaper. Laughing at random things, including strangers just looking in her direction. Giggling! Waking up early. "Talking" to me. Her binky (but only one particular kind.) Her loveys - she uses an old fleece one of Jack's, or these satin blankets I got from Target. Not really interested in much else. Riding in the Baby Bjorn or Ergo. Looking at lights, especially on the ceiling.
- Dislikes: her car seat!! Being hot. Going to sleep on her back. Wearing 3 month or 6 month clothes. Sleeping later than 6 am. Any binky other than the one kind she likes. :)
