We are enjoying the last of the hot days this year, trying to get as much pool time in as we can with Daddy (who has been working like a fiend!) Jack and Caroline both love going for different reasons, but it's always a fun family time when we can all make it to the pool.
Today was no exception. Caroline and Mommy slept in, so Daddy took Jack on a father-son breakfast date to Hobee's (how cute!) Then we all got dressed in our suits and flip flops and headed out.

| Pre-diving snack. "No way, Daddy, you can't have my twinkie!" |

She absolutely loves lounging in the shade with the breeze in her face.
And everyone loves wandering by and saying how cute she is :) |

Justin is a fan of splashing people before they are ready for the cold water.
I say, Karma will come back to haunt you one day, Sir! |
 |
Finally, the diving board opened! Jack is fully capable of swimming
to the side by himself, but he likes one of us to be in the water.
Mommy took first shift. |
 |
| He looks like he's levitating! |
 |
| Daddy's turn. Mid-air! |
 |
| And yet more levitating. (He jumped in approximately 9,234 times.) |
 |
| Pretty sure this ended in a belly flop. |
 |
| One-legged pike. |
 |
| Just like the Olympic divers, relaxing in the hot tub after a taxing set. |
 |
Missy Moo watching her brother! She can't wait until next
summer when she's big enough to do it too :) |
I am so proud of Jack! That is awesome! What a brave little guy. We'll have to come and join you again soon so that Spencer can see what a good job he does. He will love it. I showed him the videos of Jack jumping and he thought they were really cool. But, when I asked him if he wanted to try it too, he was very quick to say, "No."
ReplyDeleteha. :)
We miss you guys. We'll have to get together again soon!
