Pretty much the worst week!

I only have a few minutes, but to sum it up: this week has been pretty awful. Caroline was sick, and in turn got a horrible awful diaper rash that caused her to scream in pain pretty much every time she moved. She's been up a lot during the night and has been taking awful naps too.

Jack has (thankfully) been going to school, but he has been bored and restless at home. On Monday, he told me to "go away, because I'm tired of you!" Sadly, I felt the same way. He's been up at 6:00am (or earlier) most days. Mommy is T.I.R.E.D.!!!

Yesterday I had my CT scan for abdominal pain. That was pretty uneventful, no results yet. But while trying to get ready, I locked myself out the house. I had to break in, basically, and while doing so I cut my right hand up pretty badly on the glass. I showed up for my scan dripping blood and ended up needed stitches in the emergency room.

Today, on the wrong day, the shipping company turned up to exchange our new mega-size TV that Justin bought himself (because it was showing weird lines in HD mode.) They unboxed the new replacement they brought, and it had a giant crack down the middle of the screen. The took away both TV's and can't bring us another new one until next week.

Did I mention that Justin's been in China for 2 weeks, and his trip was extended today?

Sigh. I am not being Negative Nancy. Next week is Thanksgiving! My favorite holiday!! And then we have a long Christmas break and a family trip back east to look forward to. It's just hard to be positive when I'm exhausted and lonely and ready for something to go right :)
