A sweet soft Southern thrill

We began our family holiday vacation super early on Saturday morning with a 6:30am flight out of San Francisco. Both kids did great! Jack had a few moments of craziness but overall it was a pretty uneventful flight (unusual for me!) Justin's parents met us in Atlanta and we had a very nice dinner with them, the kids, his sisters and their husbands for G-Doc's 60th birthday. We hit the HUGE Georgia Aquarium on Sunday, which both kids loved! Then we began a whirlwind 2 days of seeing a few college friends, doing a big tour of Georgia Tech and reliving old memories, outfitting the whole family in new white & gold gear at the bookstore, eating at Mary Mac's, and doing just a little sleeping :)

Tuesday we hit the road to St. Simons Island to see Pop-Pop and SuSu. It is definitely rest time for everyone - Caroline hasn't moved in 13 hours and counting!!! She's a tired little girl!

Here are just a few pics. I have a lot more....just need to upload.

  1. 13 hours?!! Wow, I don't think my child has ever slept for 13 straight hours and we are in Atlanta every day. Wish the city had the same effect on Emma that it does on Caroline. ;) Glad ya'll enjoyed the aquarium!
