This has been a long week in the Crosby house. While we had a great visit with Nonny Sue and Pop Pop Farrell to start the week, Mommy ended up sick with strep throat by Wednesday. Daddy still hasn't gotten it, and Jack seems to be fine (except for a bout with pinkeye mid-week) ... but we will see. Needless to say, things have been moving slow around here.
Jack, in true form, spent a lot of time pulling books off shelves and things out of closets. One of his favorite activities is pulling every item out of our pantry in the kitchen. Here he is modeling his super awesome "jeans" diapers - Dad's Wal Mart special purchase of the month :)

Enjoying pool time is one of our favorite things this summer. It's only been really hot for a few days, but we took full advantage of the blow up pool! Jack loves splashing around. I can't wait to get him in a REAL pool soon! I know that he will absolutely love it. He has no fear of the water at all - which I suppose is a good thing. It just means we all have to keep a super close eye on him!

Jack was sent home from daycare on Wednesday and made a quick trip to the doctor for what they thought was pinkeye. It cleared up really fast, so I'm not convinced - but the antibiotic goop they gave us was super gross! It leaked all over the poor kid's face. Oh well - it certainly didn't affect his appetite :)
That's about all that's going on with us! I am working on the invitations for Jack's FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY now and should be getting those out soon (thanks to Annette for her help with the photo selection!) Until later ... love all of you!
