What happened to us in 2012? Well, quite a lot.
- Daddy went to China. A LOT. We'd like to bid this trend goodbye in 2013.
- Jack started 3 mornings a week at his school. He absolutely loves his friends, and he is looking forward to going back tomorrow. He is known as the crazy, caring, kind little kid who's always into something...usually with his on/off friends Jaden and Andrew. (Kid politics, I tell you, hilarious!)
- I finally got moved into our house. It's small, cramped, with no A/C and it drives me crazy most days. But we love our walks to the park through our awesome neighborhood, and the convenience of being so close to Apple. So I'm trying to embrace it.
- Jack turned 3. He's still a toddler some days, but such a little man on other days. He's inquisitive and smart and happy, and we have loved sharing the world through his eyes this year.
- We had a blast celebrating holidays this year, as Jack truly understood them. He made pink cards on Valentines Day, hunted for eggs on Easter, watched (and got scared of) the fireworks on the 4th of July, had a blast as a ninja turtle for Halloween, ate his way through Thanksgiving dinner, and - most importantly - was fascinated with SANTA and his travels this Christmas!
- And what was the best thing that happened in 2012? We welcomed sweet baby Caroline Sue Crosby on April 17! It's hard to remember life without her now...we all had some adjusting to do to a fourth family member but now our routine is comfortable and easy. She's almost 9 months old and we look forward to celebrating her first birthday in April!
2012 was a wonderful year for us in so many ways. 2013 can only be better! Happy New Year!
